Livery Yard Insurance

Equestrian World Insurance Services (EWIS) are a specialist provider of livery yard insurance in the UK.

Although not compulsory, Public Liability Insurance is recommended for anybody running a livery yard.

This covers you for injury to any person entering your premises and also provides cover for any damage caused by horses to a third party.

If you are providing part or full livery, you should give serious consideration to extending your cover to include Care, Custody and Control Cover.

This provides cover should you be accused of causing injury to any horse, either by your or your employees action or by injury caused by faulty materials at your premises.

Employers Liability Insurance is compulsory when you are employing any individual or are providing some form of reward for work carried out on your premises.

We are able to offer cover for stand alone Liability Insurance with Equestrian Underwriting Agencies, KBIS British Equestrian and City of London Underwriting Agencies, all of whom we have agency facilities.

Rural Insurance Group can offer Livery Yard Liability cover at very competitive premiums, but they do require the insurance of any buildings on the livery yard site. (UK Based risks only)

To obtain a quote for your Livery Yard, please submit your details through the quotation link and we will contact you with a competitive quotation. Alternatively contact us directly on 0141 427 7722 and we will be delighted to give you a quotation over the phone.

“Equestrian World Insurances Services have always provided a very prompt and efficient service. I could not have received any more support following the death of my very much loved horse. The whole team are very understanding at such an upsetting, and at times, frustrating time.”
